Over the last few months, I’ve had the opportunity to dabble in the realm of videography. I have always been interested in video production having spent a good portion of the last few years reading articles, researching different cameras and lenses, soaking in the advice of video enthusiasts and watching hundreds of videos published by professionals and amateurs alike.

A few months ago, I finally took the plunge and purchased a camera along with a pair of older manual lenses. After fiddling around with it for a couple of months and shooting several rounds of test footage, I decided to make a short cinematic sequence of our Christmas week at Papa D’s and Grandma Bunny’s house.

A few captured moments later (along with some basic editing and stellar background music to give you “all the feels”) and —voilà— I had created my first masterpiece! Okay, maybe not a masterpiece, but it is my first video and I’m sorta’ proud of it.
